Wellbeing Workshops

Over the past six months, we have been working on establishing a connection and building trust with the crew and members of Tandbridge. Firstly, we would like to point out that we were overwhelmed with how well HiS was received on site. The information provided was taken seriously and put into practice.

As part of our workshops, we requested all participants to fill out a feedback form. The response we received was beyond our expectations. We appreciate feedback from all attendees, especially from men who usually find it difficult to express their feelings. The information gathered is valuable to our team. The results showed;

  • 49 out of 50 staff members wanted HIS to visit every month, except for one.
  • All staff declined Biffa HR’s 6-week counselling service, finding it brief and impersonal.
  • All wanted the option of 1-2-1 sessions
  • Every month, everyone expressed the areas in which they required assistance.
  • Some people mentioned that they were uncomfortable conversing with an unknown person.
  • Every month, they tick all the areas they want to work on, including mental health, addiction, finance, relationships, anger, work, and family.
  • All individuals will have access to drop-in sessions and key-working throughout the month as needed.
  • Some men stayed behind to discuss issues in their lives or provide feedback on how they’ve used the tools we teach outside of our monthly sessions.
